Here enters the teams that are in the discussion for the College Football Playoffs.

Here we discuss who we would like to see in the matchups.

Let me start. Give me Georgia vs Oregon (I want that rematch) and let's go Ohio State vs Tennessee. UT get's lucky with missing out on the SEC title game.

Oregon vs Ohio State in the NCG? The Buckeyes don't want any slice of that after last season, but the college football world would love it.

You realize a rematch will be in Georgia again?

Since this isn’t based on reality I want Auburn to play Nebraska in the first round and get Miami in the championship game.

West Virginia would also like to play

UNC should get some love. Why? Because.

Not sure if I want 3 undefeated and a 1-loss or no undefeated teams with many that could be eligible.

Mass chaos would be better. We know OSU/UM will be in. Then we know Georgia win or lose in the SEC CG will be in. So it will come down to 2 spots. The bitching about who should be in over someone else will be glorious.

If TCU wins out they should get in over Oregon
I think if Georgia wins out -- 1 loss Tennessee would get in over Oregon, as they'd have much better wins and they didn't lose by 46 to Georgia.

Much better? Alabama and LSU top 10 to Oregon would have ucla utah and likely usc or who ever makes pac 12 title game likely another top 10.

I am seeing this debate on several threads right now. I can see both sides of the argument. However, there is still a lot of football to be played (especially with those Pac12 teams which have their tougher games of the season coming up). I say let it play out.

I just don't see TCU going 13-0. If that happens, I think the Playoff rankings play out like this:

1. Georgia
2. Ohio State or Michigan
3. Pac12 Champion (if they have 1 loss)
4. Tennessee or Ohio State (if Ohio State loses, I think they have a chance to pass Tennessee depending on if they lose a very close one and Notre Dame keeps winning).

What is interesting is if the Pac12 cannibalizes its 3 teams and TCU drops 2 games and falls out. Do they let Clemson back in or does the Ohio State/Michigan loses get a spot? I am leaning towards the B1G loser. I actually that this final scenario is very likely right now and you get 2 B1G and 2 SEC teams.

You mean the Utah that lost to Florida? The UCLA whose big win is against........Utah and their big OOC win was 32-31 against South Alabama? Stop.

The PAC had two chances to show the conferences strength. Oregon was murdered by Georgia. Utah lost to Florida. Beating up on teams in your conference only says you are the best of a weak league.

In all honesty -- the SEC could get 3 teams in the CFP (and the crazy thing is -- 1 of the 3 wouldn't be Bama) and people really wouldn't have anything to bitch about, as they are so far and away the best conference this year, it isn't even remotely close.

If Michigan or Ohio State (both undefeated going into The Game) loses especially in a close, hard fought game, I say the loser should get the nod for the CFP. If they are going to possibly keep Oregon out because of a week 1 beatdown to the #1 team in the land, then Clemson should be left out because of the beatdown they encountered to a Notre Dame team that lost to Stanford and Marshall. Notre Dame also beat Syracuse worse than Clemson ever dreamed about.

It is about the 4 best teams. If it is, say, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State, maybe TCU (if they win out). I am not sure what is going to happen in the SEC West, the PAC 12, etc.. I guess Tennessee can sneak their way back in. Hell, I ain't sure. If TCU loses, and the PAC beats each other up, I am not sure. If it has to be Georgia, Tennessee, Ohio State, Michigan, then so be it. If Clemson makes it back in somehow, they will get drilled like 51-17. If Oregon wins out, do they make it back in? Can you honestly put the Ducks in over Tennessee with the wins Tennessee has including the fact that they didn't lose by almost half a century to Georgia? Let TCU lose a game, Oregon or Southern Cal win out, and the arguing and disputing will be grand.

It is going to be hilarious to see all the fans who are so pissed once that final ranking comes out, especially if TCU, loses.

PAC fans are going to be so bitter and I don't see any scenario they get in, as the conference played 2 OOC games against the SEC and we know how they ended up.

So many teams have reasons why they shouldn't be in the CFP. I honestly wouldn't be shocked to see the SEC get 3 teams in if LSU wins the SEC CG even with 2 losses, as they will have wins over Georgia and Bama, among others. Georgia is in no matter what right now, unless they miraculously lose two games. That leaves Tennessee with 1 loss and they'd have a much better resume with wins over LSU, Kentucky, Alabama.

So I wouldn't be surprised in the least if it were the winner of the OSU/UM game and 3 SEC teams, as long as TCU loses (if TCU is undefeated, they are in no matter what)

And I doubt the CFP folks will weigh in the fact that Tennessee absolutely destroyed LSU at LSU. Especially if LSU somehow wins the SEC champs game.
