True -- I think, if I remember correctly, OSU went away from giving the ball to Zeke in the 2nd half. That was such a great team OSU had.
As far as the weather at the Michigan/OSU game last year -- the TV made the game look way worse than it actually was. It was actually a nice day out, just a little chilly, but nothing that'd effect the play at all.
I agree the weather in that game this past week was bad, but NW QB's was still able to complete 10/14, so it isn't like it was that bad. Though Julian Fleming dropped a couple balls that should have been caught. Still can't believe that guy hasn't panned out. Thought he was going to be dominate.
And I fully expect OSU to be able to throw the ball on UM. UM just wants to eliminate the big TD plays. Make them move it down the field and continue making the throws. Should be a fun game. Coming into this year -- I thought it would be a blowout (OSU blowing UM out), but I think it will be a good game now. We had to replace so much on defense as well as our DC -- but it has been a seamless transition.
NW QBs were also throwing dink and dunks lol. Ohio State offense is a lot more developing routes down the field. Good luck connecting on a lot of those in those conditions.
3 of NW passes accounted for 35/79 yards that means the other 7 went for a total of 44 yards. They weren't going down the field much at all.
Of course some blame definitely goes to Day and co for still constantly trying to throw deeper routes in a wind storm.
