Bale has been injured. Played like 6 minutes in a month before that LAFC goal in the final. I think he started only 2 LAFC games. I still don't think he is fit.

I am not rooting against the USA, just think with Berhalter it will be a shit show. Lets see who he starts at striker today lol. At least this team is healthy. First time in a long time.

Makes sense. I didn't follow LAFC closely, but I think Bale going to MLS to "stay in shape" was bullshit from the jump. Him getting injured is just karma. You can tell just by his body language he didn't even want to be there.

Absolutely true. He hasn’t been fit for a couple years. Took $30 million from Real Madrid for a couple years and never fit but fit enough to play a lot of golf.

US needs to do no worse that draw today vs Wales. A loss would spell big trouble for any chance of advancing.

I watch one every four years. It seems like the US has had the ball about 80% of the time but not with too much of a threat.
