Outside of Saban, Dabo, Urbs, they're all a gamble, so we shall see.
I think we can all agree that this program is a complete rebuild. Strength and Conditioning, getting people lined up right, etc. would be a good start.

Rhule is somewhat fortunate to take over this team after a win as opposed to a loss to end the season.
Why didn't they hire a black coach? Most of the players are black. Nebraska is racist and will not win 5 games again in my lifetime.

I think it is more about wanting to ensure he wouldn't jump ship and go somewhere else given that he hasn't stayed at a place longer than 4 years.

Matt Rhule will reportedly not be going to Lincoln. He reportedly turned down the opportunity to take over the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

That was exactly why I think it was set for 8. I don't see Franklin staying at Penn St another 5yrs, could be wrong though.

Nebraska had to do better than the $40 million that Carolina still owed Rhule.
5 yrs at $6 million/yr ($30 million) wasn't gonna get it done.
Do the math and that 8 years likely comes to $6 mil/yr minimum ($48 million), but more likely $7 or $8 mil/yr. JMO
