This is Frost's first coaching staff at Nebraska.
Note many only had G5 experience in the same positions Frost put them at Nebraska.

  • Roman Sapolu - Graduate Assistant Coach - Offensive Line
  • Andrew Seumalo - Graduate Assistance Coach - Defensive Line
  • Nick Smith - Graduate Assistant Coach - Special Teams
  • Tavita Thompson - Graduate Assistant Coach - Tight Ends

We can break down Rhule's assistants for P5 (or higher) experience as they come in.

Terrance Knighton is in his second season with Carolina in 2022, now serving as assistant defensive line coach. Knighton played seven seasons as a defensive tackle in the NFL from 2009-15.

the dude is ripped.. that is all i will say
 
Knighton does seem light on experience but 1. his nickname is Pot Roast so that should count for something and 2. we don’t really know at this point if he is even coming as an assistant.

That said, Rhule does have a history of finding young assistants that end up being incredible. Elijah Robinson (#1 recruiter in the country) is one of those guys.

Yea, I don't disagree, assuming he's the DL coach. He at least has good experience with stops around the NFL as a player Wiki. Hopefully Rhule thinks he can be a good recruiter and teacher. This is the one place we need to get better both on depth and ability.
