2022 Bowls

New times, New rules. It's a contract job. You don't fulfill your contract, you get nothing.

You get paid for the work performed. It is voidable by either party.

It's not though, it's trending the exact opposite of being a contract job.

NMSU needs to get their sorry asses back in the fuckin Sun Belt already. They go 7-6, win a bowl game, then just split?

MFers must not have their heads screwed on straight or something.

They were angling for a big 12 invite. It worked for BYU

It could, yes. But if I make it thru 4 years injury free, and have a bright future in the NFL, I'm sitting the bowl game out.
No need to take unnecessary risks when there is no benefit in doing so.

Now, if the nil deal includes a big insurance payout with it, I'm in.
So your philosophy is "me before we?"

Because no one wants it, clearly. Hence my “moving in the opposite direction” comment. A few disgruntled fans aren’t gonna change the direction of that over not being able to see their favorite player one more time in the little Caesar’s cardboard pizza bowl.

If I have given my all for 4 years to a university? Risked injury by playing in 50 games, with 700+ carries? Putting up the kind of stats that help the team win enough to qualify for bowl games?
How selfish of me to pass on one game to insure my health and a chance at the big money.

Very. Teammates, coaches, support personnel, alumni, & fans all depending on you to give your best.

You were given a free education & all that comes with it, after all.

If any of those people receive an offer for more money, are the allowed to leave before the meaningless bowl game?

Bowl games aren't meaningless. Score is kept.
