I guess it’ll be interesting to hear the excuses when they get trucked again this year. They basically got rewarded for not making it to their CCG, because Purdue would have easily given them their second loss.
Bahaha!! Purdue, Schmurdue!!

They should have lost sooner because it’s apparently better to not make it to your CCG than to lose in it.
...'cept, of course, when that loss in the conference title game ends up being loss #2 on the season.

They kept Alabama out so Go State.
They were getting a free spot no matter what. I said that before the first game and I was, as usual, right.

Jim Mora Playoffs GIF

I thought them barely beating Maryland and then getting devastated by Michigan was an exciting end to the season leading up to them getting handed a playoff spot for fuck all.

How about you?
You forgot Utahs win over USC, probably their most important win of the season.

I voted all of them bc it was important that they only had one loss

It was a strange season The sec west wasn't good and the big ten had no depth
I'll go even further than that. The SEC West fucking sucked. Just look at what team won the division. LSU is in a total rebuild. At the beginning of the season 6-6 would have been a great year. Texas A&M and Auburn didn't make a bowl game. Arkansas and Miss. St. had disappointing seasons. Ole Miss lost too much from last year, players and coaches. Even Alabama had two losses. Alabama might be the only sec west team to win a bowl game. And since it's the Sugar Bowl, wouldn't surprise me if half the team opts out.

Maybe if they used just a little more auto tune

You guys didn’t exactly take care of business in your last game, either.

Well no shit.

I hear this crap about Bamas “strong finish” after 2 losses. It was against a overrated 8-4 ole Miss team (and they barely won), Austin peay and a terrible Auburn team. Bama did nothing to justify getting in with 2 losses over a 1 loss team

Ohio State struggled against mediocre teams and got trucked by the only decent team they played. They have no business in the CFP and will be lucky to only lose by 20 points. Them being in the playoff cheapens the playoff and college football as a whole.

Alabama struggled with some mediocre teams too….neither really “belong” but they had to pick 1. And they made the correct choice.

But yea lol a 2 loss Bama with no great wins definitely wouldnt “cheapen” the playoff at all.
