ACC Basketball

Clemson may never lose another conference game again

3 Q1/Q2 wins before New Year's Day. Last year's team had five on selection sunday

@ UNC, Clemson, Virginia, @ Pitt, NC State, @ Duke, UNC, @ Miami and @ NC State all have the potential be Q1/Q2 opportunities. obviously, NC State and Pitt could play themselves off that line. if Deacs go 5-4 in those they have a decent shot at being a NCAAT team.

also the NET ratings seem to be retarded. Deacs are #84 with a 10-4 record and 3 Q1/Q2 wins while Kent State is #21 with a 8-3 record and 0 Q1/Q2 wins

Pitt gonna win the ACC.

Hold up, is Pitt actually good now?

Clemson has played zero Q1 game so far. pretty wild

i don't think they are going to be an NCAAT team but they are going to be a tough out

and i would argue that Virginia losing last night was not ideal for the league. League needs the Hoos to stay in the top 30

I wouldn't say they are good just UVa is doing their typical bullshit of where they decide to go 5-7 minutes every game without managing to score. It's like they forget they are playing basketball and think they are just running shuttles.

I don't think the league has a true title contender at the moment(perhaps Miami MIGHT be). Duke and UNC don't appear to be that, and UVA has come back down to earth a bit. I think the league is looking at probably a 3 seed as the ceiling for it's best team. But the league is deeper than last year, so I'm guessing the league gets more teams in the tournament. The top 4(UVA, UNC, Miami, and Duke) probably are between the 3-6 line. Then everyone else is probably looking at being a bubble team. VT probably the safest of that bunch, but still projects IMO to be about an 8/9.

Pitt, Wake, NC State, and Clemson would be the bubble teams(in that order as of now). I think realistically only 2 from that grouping can make it.

I think 7 is the number for the league. Whoever finishes 6 & 7 will want to avoid losing their first game in the ACCT though, because 10-15 in this league is really really bad and would be a Q3/Q4 loss.

Brownell has me right where he wants me. Beat VT tonight (fuck 9pm games) and start getting my hopes up. Probably lose back to back to Pitt and Louisville.

This string of down years has to be concerning for the ACC.

UVA to me is a nice team, but don't have the horses to really make a run at it. Nothing close to their peak Bennett teams.

Duke could get there. UNC is a total enigma. They could still put it together.

Duke and UNC are the two teams with the pure talent to be able to put it together and make a run at the title. I mean UNC did it last year.

Miami is the team im most confident in saying "yeah, they will make the elite 8". But I dont think they are a contender to cut down the nets.

Virginia, I have thought is overrated all year. Better than I expected preseason, but coming back down to more level. A lot of good pieces but nothing dynamite.

inviting all those northeast retards was a big mistake

it has destroyed ACC hoops

@osubuckeye89's video is proof of that

who the hell is this fat fucker for NC State
