Nebraska Cornhuskers 2023 Recruiting Thread (Commit list in OP)



Mazzccua (pronounced Mazzucca) will announce on Tuesday at 8pm
 


Looks like Coleman might be getting a ratings bump by On3
 
Thought Malik Hornsby had accepted not being a QB, that might not be the case, he might go to Texas State now. We are not going to give him QB1, they will.
 
and there it is.... Nebraska still in on Kelly, Rouse, and Mazzcua... I think Nebraska feels good about all three.
 


Just FYI - here are my predictions... percentage of certainty for you guys...

Mazzccua - 75% (25% Florida IMO, don't think Auburn has a shot)
Rouse - 65% (I think Iowa is next, and then OU - Nebraska's engineering program likely pushes this over the top IMO)
Dylan - 60% (I think he visits Nebraska and UGA one more time before making a decision in the spring. Gotta get him around the new staff as much as possible)
 


Dang... Even the Florida guys are surprised... Things must have changed
 
Sorry guys, I'm starting to doubt my Rouse confidence... But then again... Maybe we were wrong and it was an either or? Time will tell.
 
Walter Rouse decision day - Sounds like Iowa is out... it's a Nebraska-Oklahoma affair and NIL is in play. I'm told Nebraska knows it NEEDs a Left Tackle and will do what it takes (within reason) to land Rouse, but they will NOT overpay for a guy that likely is not going to get drafted by 2024 either. The ball is in Rouse's court - I do know that Nebraska's offer exceeds OU's at this point.

Nebraska still looking for a TE in this 2023 class.... this kid went to school and was coached by new TE coach Wager. Iowa legacy I believe. Interesting recruitment to watch heading into late signing day.
 
FYI Flores will be visiting next weekend most likely.
