The issue most QB's have in the NFL is -- you are no longer throwing to wide open receivers all the time. You have to start anticipating throws more and throwing guys open. You also will be throwing on the run a lot more as you will get pressured.
I think that is why OSU QB's have struggled so much in the NFL -- in their offense, there are very few throws like that. The WR's they have, they will always have a huge advantage against any secondary. Haskins was the guy I thought who could buck that trend, but even he struggled immensely.
Stroud reminds me of Haskins -- looks extremely accurate if he has all the time to make a throw, but if you get him to move his feet, he really struggles. Will be interesting to see where he ends up. Never in a million years would I think I'd be saying -- his bet option is if the Lions take him, but that's his best option.
