Quality of opponent is factored in when you look at a teams efficiency but a team with a weak schedule could still be rated high

Why is that? Maybe I don't like this system as well as I thought if that's the case. So, in KenPom a team can beat up on a bunch of patsies and still be rated higher than a team that has played a bunch of toughies in close games?

It's possible but the expectation would be that you need to dominate in order to make up for the lack of competition. The goal is to determine who's the best team, not determine who "deserves" anything.

By the sounds of it, I'm guessing Alberts is going to give him another year. I just can't understand how in year 4 you have little to no depth on the roster. Who would have thought that 11 wins would be an accomplishment for Hoiberg in his 4th year?

What if I told you 4 years ago that Tim Miles and Mike Riley are both significantly better than Fred Hoiberg and Scott Frost?

#18 Indiana at Michigan - 6:00 PM on ESPN - Indiana is coming off huge wins over Purdue and Rutgers. Now they have to take the show on the road.

Yeah, I think they'll get in pretty safely. They'd be in pretty safely now, and they do have a favorable schedule. Seems like a team destined to be in the 8/9 game.

Ohio State is the worst power conference team at this point. Just beyond awful. Maybe we could beat Louisville but that’s about it

That's not even close to true. Cal, Louisville and Georgetown combined only have 12 wins.
