I am very hopeful that expansion for the SEC has stopped. I think the B1G might go after Ore and UDub, but only because of academic fit and the west coast aspect of things for non-football.
As for the SEC, there are only three teams that come close to driving enough revenue to earn a share. Remember ... this is about staying in the conference. We'd kick out many schools if you had to justify your economic existence every year. But when you want in it's a different consideration. It's the delta. If you want a $100 million dollar share, does bring you in drive an extra $100 million to the SEC. If not, why let you in?
Notre Dame for sure, and maybe FSU and Clemson move the needle. That's it.
SEC won't add anyone right now so I think you don't have to worry.
Clemson and FSU are not leaving the ACC but they do move the needle enough to get interest.
(Well they are not leaving unless my theoretical/maybe unrealistic legal ideas that I would never recommend and I am just posting for message board discussion to mix things up happen).
I also think that the SEC wouldn't want either of them right now anyways...
