Nebraska Cornhuskers The Official 10000 posts for a Husker Conference Championship

Anthony Grant suspended too...

tommi hill not allowed to practice...
Sounds like they expect Grant to be able to come back. That said, Rhule was talking pretty well about Ervin so if not I think we’ve got some options. Hopefully Grant can get it together both on and off the field, he seemed close to being really good.

BS.
At Nebraska the players would rather play Xbox, eat Little Caesars Hot & Ready's, and bang Susy Rottencrotch. It's easy street.
They go (3-9) and (4-8) and lose to someone like Georgia Southern by putting in the bare minimums. Bare minimums at the training table, weight room, film room, studying the playbook, etc.
"I HAVE to be at these mandatory player appointments, but not a minute longer."
I knew they were gonna lose the opener to Northwestern the moment I saw the O and D linemen going into the restaurant in Ireland. They had no tone. Just big flabby soft dudes.
"Oh shit, it's August. I'd better start working out, eating right, and studying my playbook" NO. that shit starts in January.
I'm 60 and I'd have had those pussies crying like babies within 2 minutes in a street fight. "Squeal like a pig"

BTW Northwestern finished (1-8) in conference and (1-11) overall. That 1 win was against our lazy assed pussies who couldn't wait to get off the field and back to leisure time.

We shall see.

Remember when Frost got here there was a change in "culture" needed?

When Mickey took over as interim he immediately took away music in practice? He went (3-6) losing 5 straight after wins over Indiana and Rutgers. Yeah they ended the season with a win over Iowa, but Iowa's offense was 130th out of 131 teams. Rutgers was 127th. Indiana was 110th.

Pelini was probably the most hard nosed, but he had the scrapbook boys starting on the o-line. He would send his coaches into Lincoln bars looking for players. Yeah they won 9 or 10 games, but the vast majority of wins were against teams with 7 or less wins. i.e. Games they should have won. FCS McNeese St were tied with them at 24-24 until Ameer busted a run with 20 seconds remaining in the 4th.

This program needs an enema.

If anyone thought Hoiberg could ever out-recruit cretin, it ain't gonna happen now.

Nobody's gonna care that Nebraska beat them back on Dec 4th.

Nebraska got the worse deal at coach when they brought in Miles and Creighton got MacDermott.

How in thee fuck are the (18-11-1) Huskers 0-3 against in-state competition?

0-2 vs Nebraska Omaha (L 6-10), (L 5-6)
*UNO is 12-14 overall

0-1 vs cretin (L 5-6)
*cretin is 14-12 overall

At 4-2 in the Big 10 standings Nebraska is tied for 2nd place based on .667 win %. They've won both of their series 2-1.

They're at #3 in the Big 10 standings 'overall' with a 3 game series vs (5-22) Northwestern this weekend.

With 23 games remaining I don't see them getting to the NCAA tourney without either winning out the regular season with 41 overall wins (i.e. Big 10 champs) or getting an auto bid by winning the Big 10 tourney.

Their (0-3-1) opener against San Diego is looking pretty bad right now.
