I would just like to point out that our main QB target (Raiola), our backup (Kaelin), and our backup backup (Reno) are all Elite 11 finalists. I have a feeling having good effort and organization in recruiting is going to help us going forward.
 
So... OVs start this week... I'll bring the list later in the week here. I think it's going to be a good start to the summer season. I think Nebraska is going to do better in state than inititially thought, and mostly because of getting Kaelin instead of Raiola. That's not to say getting Raiola wouldn't have been huge, BUT, getting Kaelin will help locally for sure, especially at Bellevue and in Omaha.

I think Nebraska is in the driver's seat for Caleb Pyform and Carter Nelson... and I think they've made up significant ground with McMorris and Hall and I think they're in the driver's seat with Benning as well.

Yes, that means I could see Nebraska getting 7 of the top 8 in state prospects in this class. Is it a done deal? No... but it is looking better now than it did a month ago.

Sorry guys! Life got CRAZY this week with various family things so I wasn't able to designate the time I needed to to get the visit list compiled.

All that said... better tonight and ready to get into the weeds.

Hopefully, if things don't get crazy again tomorrow, I can drop by some nuggets. One nugget that I'll drop here:

Nebraska is likely gonna land a few from this weekend, and Mario Buford is one of them.

1. Expect a commitment from Mario Buford on Thursday 4-Star DB
2. Expect that Nebraska will have a really really good shot with Jacorey Barney Jr. - 4-Star ATH
3. I also believe Nebraska picked up a silent commitment from 3-STAR DL Carlon Jones
4. 4-Star DB Peyton Morgan is also on the commit watch list...

Don't sleep on William Nettles either... was told he had a GREAT time.
