I'll always love AD ... he had two of the biggest catches in UGA history. But, we came out net positive here.

That is exactly my point. We can argue if you came out slightly ahead or slightly negative, but either way it isn’t a big deal. Normally losing a quality starter would have a fan crying and moaning

I agree with regard to UGA. We are going to lose people who want PT, occasionally a really good one. But we will get ours. The problem I see are those teams that can't get good ones to come to them. They lose their best - the diamonds in the rough they found and/or developed - but can't replace them with better.

Portal is a case of rich getting richer. That is why WR is so plentiful. There are just so many 5’11- 6’2 180-200 pound WRs available in recruiting. Pirate cited that as a reason to go 5 wide. What you struggle to find is 6’4 and 300 pound DL, that can move. That is the area that blue bloods dominate in recruiting, so there are not lot leftover to find in the portal. Why I believe you bolster your team through skill players in the portal, but you will be hard pressed to build your LOS from the portal

Not good ones. Kids that size that also have elite athletic ability are rare.

It's always been about the LOS.

Don't know what he says. I just know the UGA guys at the three sites have said for a long time that he isn't coming to UGA.

You do realize these sites are multi-million dollar businesses, right? I mean they have anywhere from 4 to 12 staff members whose jobs are to follow recruiting. Don't think they need to follow Wiltfong to get their intel.

I posted earlier he wasn't coming to UGA. We are holding out for a high 5*, which we likely won't get, or we will hit the Portal.

We already have two top 100 WRs committed, and we are good with that unless we can get a top guy. Also have two top TEs. So Ragins was not a take for us at this time.

He's a good WR, good get for you guys.

Hollywood was 135lb out of high school. Regardless 10.37 is smoking fast.
