Brayden Platt has finalized that he will announce his decision in September.
And Platt has targeted a decision date for his commitment.
"I want to commit on September 4th for my mom's birthday," Platt told 247Sports.
Platt will choose from a final two of Oklahoma and Oregon.
The Sooners hosted him for an unofficial in April then had him on campus for an official visit on June 9.
He was in Eugene for a couple of unofficials and also attended the USA Junior Track Nationals in June then took his official visit on June 23.
One of the elite throwers in the country, he won the javelin at USA Track Nationals and is the two-time state champion in the shot-put, Platt plans to do both football and track in college.
