Oregon isn't going to the ACC. Oregon isn't going Independent.

Don't think they'll go independent, but if they wanted to maximize how much they can make, that's probably the best way to do it.

Yeah, I don't think they will either. Where do you think they end up? I'm guessing the B1G?

In order of likelihood:

1) Big Ten
2) Big 12
3) PAC Whatever it ends up being

There are no other possible outcomes IMO

I didn't say it was more likely. If ASU, Utah and Zona go the B12, they need a home. I just don't know if the B1G invite is going to come. Maybe it will, but it's not looking like any time soon.

I have a feeling this announced deal is going to be very underwhelming. They're going to be looking to move, if the B12 doesn't want to go past 16, and they don't get a B1G invite, where else are they going to go? Honestly, if they don't get invited to the B1G, at least Oregon, should explore Independent. Throw the other sports in the WCC. I'd guess they can get more than $32m on the open market to have their football games televised.
The B12 would take them even if they had 50 teams. They All would make it work and make a little money until UO/uDub bailed to greener pastures.

More importantly, the networks would make it happen

Is Arizona going to Big XII? Seeing this like crazy now.

Lol at Clownzano. Pumping up the PAC survival hard

As expected this reported deal looks to be pretty shitty. Counting on a subscription based model as revenue, is something I can't see all of the schools come to terms with. Seeing reports Zona to the B12 is a done deal.

What's you prediction on what happens to the PAC schools?

My guess is Zona is for sure leaving for the B12. I think Yormark would also like to take ASU and Utah to form a 16 team league. If I were Oregon/UW, I would make sure they let it be known that they are interested in the B12.

The P12 is then down to Stanford, Cal, Oregon State, Washington State and two of UW/Oregon or ASU/Utah. With this deal being incentive based I think the P12 looks to add SDSU, UNLV, CSU and Boise State to try and stay alive.

I don't think it's out of the question the P12 could ultimately die, which would be sad, but I'd put that at about 40% right now.

So you're saying it's either Arizona, Arizona State and Utah to the Big 12 or Arizona, Oregon, Washington to the Big 12?

That would be my guess based on what's been reported/leaked. I wish there was a substantive report on what the actual dollar amount is from Apple Tv for this deal. That would provide more clarity, although I've seen it's coming in about $11m below what the B12 has gotten. The more this drags on the less likely I see Oregon/UW to the B1G, unfortunately for those schools.

I think you're underestimating the chances of the Big Ten expanding west if things fall apart in the PAC. But you've been consistent you don't think the Big Ten won't expand without Notre Dame. We'll find out who's right soon IMO

Yeah, I can see it being ND, then Oregon/UW and probably Stanford. But ND isn't joining anytime soon IMO. I just think they'd already be in the B1G by now if they wanted to expand to 18.

I think the Big Ten's calculations change if the PAC falls apart/isn't viable. And the Big Ten is definitely going to expand past 16 eventually. With or without ND
