If I go to McDonalds, a Quarter Pounder with Cheese, medium fries and a soft drink now costs around $15. If I go to my butcher and ask him to cut a nicely marbled 12 oz. rib-eye steak, to toss on my grill, it will cost around $15.

WTF is up with fast food????? Are they fucking nuts?????????

Bingo! And there is nothing fast about fast food anymore. You are gonna wait and pay for really bad food. I don't eat fast food very often, but when I do its because I want something quick. That is the entire point. If I want quality food I am going some place else where I expect there to be a wait. There is no incentive to go to these places.

I'm a Hardee's chicken tenders fan, but they are quickly outpacing themselves.
 
It’s insane. We went to Chipotle yesterday. Three burrito bowls, three drinks and chips and queso - $50.

$50 for three people at Chipotle.

I don't eat that slop, but prices are lower in the US.

Ten bucks for a honky burrito? Dang. It just sounds retarded. I go to this local place for a kick ass "Super" burrito - choice of meat, beans, rice, salsa, cheese, avocado and they're friggin' YUUUUGE. All for about 6 bucks.
