WTF is up with Fast Food?

McDonald's is by far the poorest run of the fast food burger chains. Lately, they've been undercooking the fries during rush hour, so if you use a drive through, you'll only discover your raw fries when you get home. They can't even run a drive through. Making people park and wait? Somebody should be fired for that.
How often are you going to mcdonalds?

Up until a year ago, probably once a month. When I started to experience the undercooked fries, I learned to open the bag and eat a fry before leaving. I don't use drive through anymore, because if they make you park and wait, you may as well get off your ass and go inside. I don't go as often anymore. Last time I had a 1/4 pounder and fries, I got an upset stomach a half hour later. Pretty pricey if you have to chug Pepto after.

The only thing I'll eat from them these days is the Crispy Chicken BLT.

And only if I have no other options.

Getting old is a bitch.

True, but I have been blessed with a young digestive system. No upset tummies for this old guy.
Same here. no problems with heartburn, acid indigestion or acid reflux.

I used it as motivation to just stop eating it all together. My fast food crutch has always been taco bell. When it got to a point (probably a year ago) where it cost $12 for like a 3 taco meal I was done. I can go to local taco places (Chela's in Ann Arbor for instance) and pay pretty literally the same price and get real tacos made with real meat/toppings. I haven't eaten fast food now in like 5 months probably (outside of getting the kids something occasionally). Fast food loses all advantages when you can get real takeout for the same price. I suspect they're going to find that out at some point soon. If I can pay $50 to take my family out to a restaurant or buy them all Mcdonalds, I'm not buying Mcdonalds; the place that originated the dollar menu.

Mcdonalds can't sustain itself by charging as much for their big mac as it costs to go out and get a real burger from a real burger place.

Funny, as I age, I find my digestive system to still be pretty tolerant. A McDonalds Big Mac does make me feel bloated after I eat the fucker and if I eat cucumber, I'm belching that for a few hours, but that's about it. I can have a triple Espresso before bed and sleep like a baby.

My corner McDonalds is franchise owned and it's becoming terrible.

Last 3 times...............
1. Quarter Pounder wasn't done.
2. Big Mac mostly cold.
3. Regular Hamburger had a shit ton of salt.

So, I'm out. Not going back.
It was a good 55 year run, but no more.

lol!

The bear is like, "fuck that shit, quit bothering me, or I'm gonna bite your skull."

Worked from home yesterday since wife decided to grab McDonald's for supper Sunday night. I had it coming out of both ends. Had similar happenings at BK as well. Taco Bell seems to be the safest fast food option in my area anymore.

Wish we had one up here.

We have one a mile away in the same shopping complex as Kroger. Sometimes when the wife sends me to pic up groceries, I take a little detour to Culver’s and snag a Culver’s Double Deluxe and eat in the car as the poors load my groceries into my trunk.
