CFP Top 25 Guesses

Yeah, if you take away their top 10 win their resume isn't as good.
The fuck you talking about. I gave them credit for their one good win. One. Good. Win. Then they almost lose to some really shitty teams. Check out depth. Check out D. Check out why they barely beat some bad teams. No, let's just look at one good win.

I'll ask the question I've asked before in this thread ... who exactly is the team that has played a really tough schedule who is actually good? I'll wait.

Okay, and that is One. More. Than. UGA. Yeah they almost lost to shitty teams, so has basically everyone else in the top 10, outside Michigan and OSU.

To answer your last question. So far, I'd say it two. OSU and FSU. At least out of the undefeated teams. OSU's has been a really tough schedule.

I do not get the PSU love, at all. They just don't look good at all.
The B1G has to try and pump up somebody. The conference is filled with mediocrity this year. PSU has looked terrible. They have some legit NFL talent, but their QB is not good.

I get the fun in trying to guess what they will do with this flawed system. Won't matter much until the couple of votes and even then it will impact which 4 face each other in the first round more than who might get left out.

They've done a good job of putting up 4 worthy, or at least deserving teams.

First, where in my post did I ever defend our schedule? I didn't, so don't whatabout UGA me. My point is simple ... everyone wants to say UGA hasn't played a great schedule. Fine, you play what you have and we can't help teams in the SECE suck. We can't help we play 3 top 20 teams in the last 3rd of the season. We can't help that we can't play ourselves while everyone that does gets to add no. 1 to their SOS.

But, to my point, you had to work to come up with two top teams you claim have played a decent schedule. Because most the top teams haven't played more than one tough team, and that's simply a function of scheduling.

tOSU - barely beat Notre Dame who has 2 losses and should had a 3rd to Duke. They beat PSU who, for the life of me, I can't understand why everyone is saying they are a good team. They looked terrible in that game, almost got beat by Indiana, etc.

FSU - beat a 2 loss LSU, and a 4-4 Clemson. Almost got beat by BC.

So, most of the good teams are ranked 20-80, with UGA at the bottom of that. But it's not like any of those teams has played this really hard schedule and beat multiple top teams.

Georgia's SOS is trash. This is known.

Once again, no one here is denying it. LOL. Broken fucking record.

We have the 11, 14, and 19 teams coming up. The season is 12 games, not 8.

When we play you, beat us. Otherwise, fuck off with the SOS stuff. We play who's in front of us, and we beat them. Stop us or quit your whining like a little bitch.

“Almost lose” is just a stupid way of saying “win.”
Not sure it's a stupid way, but sure, it's a way of saying win. But when we are comparing records of teams who don't play each other - and you can't have everyone play each other with 130+ teams - you look at all sorts of things, or at least the committee does. Sure, good wins matter and that's what most people here are talking about. But bad losses and near losses also matter when these types of comparisons are being made. I mean right here in this thread, UGA has won all its games, so should we leave it at that? No, it's pointed out every time that we have a weak SOS so far. Per the chart up a few posts, we are 81, you guys are 52. It's not like you have played some murderer's row. But you've won all the games, and that is as good as you can get and gets you in consideration for top 4.

Why does UGA duck top competition?

It's embarrassing.

Well the schedule is why I think UW will be ranked ahead of UGA at this point. I could be wrong and if I am, I don't really care. But UW has played a better schedule.

I think a lot of people are underestimating how much the committee relies on advanced metrics. I will be surprised if UW is ranked higher than Michigan or Georgia. My guess is Ohio State is ranked #1 based on their quality wins and overall metrics. FSU, UGA, and Michigan will be ranked 2-4. That will give us an idea of how much the committee values quality wins (FSU) vs. advanced metrics (UGA and Michigan). UW will probably come in at 5 because their advanced metrics are a bit below the top 4.

How they end up ranking the 1 loss teams will be interesting. You have Oregon, OU, Texas, Alabama, Penn State and Ole Miss that will be ranked between 6-11 IMO.

Oklahoma was on Georgia's schedule this year and the SEC asked them to drop that game with OU coming to the SEC.

We should not be #1 to anyone who's watched us. We've won but it's been ugly.

Anyone who thinks they'll have UGA out of the top 4 is delusional though. The bozos on NBC Saturday were saying UGA was gonna be #5 lmao.

That’s the thing. The top teams aren’t as dominant as they’ve been the last few seasons. It’s not just Ohio State. But someone has to be ranked #1

I still think UGA is going to be #1, lowest UGA will be is 2 but i'd be shocked if they aren't #1.
