CFP Top 25 Guesses

It would be close, but I might lean OSU as having the better body of work. ND, PSU and Michigan are likely 3 top 15 wins(Michigan probably a top 6 win at worse). Ole Miss and Bama/LSU are likely top 15, but it's no guarantee Tenn and Missouri will be. Both play UGA still and then play each other. Does an 8-4 Tenn finished ranked? Maybe, but they'll have no good wins in this scenario, so it's nothing guaranteed. Then looking at secondary wins, it's very similar. Kentucky/UF is basically Rutgers/MD 6/7 win teams likely. Wisconsin making the B1GCG would be nice for OSU especially if they get there at 9-3. If they're ranked going into that game, I can't see the committee dropping them out for losing, even if they get their destroyed(which they would)
It would definitely be close, you're right. With PSU and ND not having that 12th game and already being where they are, I think 10-2 would likely land them both in the top 10, and if they beat michigan it'd be top 5 for sure (unless we blow them out which I doubt is happening). I also like Missouri to beat Tennessee and play UGA close, which is going to land them really close to top 10. I'm not on the Ole Miss bandwagon, I wouldn't be shocked if they lost this weekend and then to UGA, finishing 9-3 so on Wisconsin's level.

All said, UGA would have a top 10 win over Bama, possible top 10 win over Missouri, a likely top 20 win over Ole Miss, and then whatever happens to Tennessee. Meanwhile OSU would have at least two, possibly three top 10 wins and then a 4th over Wisconsin (x2, with one being on the road), so you may be right. I guess they set the tone putting them at 1 to begin with.

Also, just looking strictly at the raw SOS numbers, OSU will have played a significantly harder schedule. As of now OSU's SOS is 15 and UGA's is 99. Even with the good remaining schedule UGA has it barely is rated tougher than what OSU's is. OSU is gonna finish with a top 8/10 schedule I'd guess and UGA likely in the 40's somewhere.

That's interesting, I would have thought UGA's schedule remaining would have been significantly tougher, but I'm sure if you include Alabama in the SEC CG, it will be rated much higher than OSU's, even if we get to the B1G CCG and face whoever comes from there.

My theory is that they want Ohio state in, so they are making them 1 to justify dropping them to 3/4 after they lose to Michigan.
Amen. They pity the Ohio State players for being forced to live in Ohio

I think you'll find, come the end of the season, that both Penn State and Notre Dame are average teams that Ohio State barely beat. Ohio State looked like dog poo while beating Penn State.

lol your neighbor sounds like a bitch lol
lol he is for having his shitty tosu yard sign in front of his house... he's from there, graduated at tosu.. apparently he worked for some huge chips company or distributor somewhere in that state.. his wife is a exec or something for marathon oil, so he stepped down at the chips place and is just an advisor so he can be remote..

other than his buckeye-ness, he seems to be a pretty chill guy

Older guy? His wife have one of those names where it's two first names hyphenated?

i don't even know his name.. we just say hey man/oh look who it is... I walk my dog a couple times a week and I go through his street to get to the lake.. I don't always see him but if he's out there we talk for a few minutes.

i'm 43 and he looks much older than me, but he might have just aged bad. Never seen his wife.. has kids but they aren't in TX.. don't remember him saying if they were in OH either..
