MSU will fire it's acting coach, there's almost 99% certainty of this. A guy very outspoken about the Michigan situation (along with his AD). And I would bet at least one of the others mentioned is gone after this year. Certainly within the next two. I would be shocked if PSU gave franklin another year, and he's almost certainly gone next year if they keep him.

The overall point is that of the people bitching the loudest, most won't be here within a year or two.

So let's just talk hypothetically here. The NCAA investigation happens at rules the Stallions stuff isn't a violation. Then what? Or they say its' a secondary violation? Then what? You suspended a coach with no connection for secondary violations because of pressure from other schools? That's why due process is super important here.

Those cases are settled and the NCAA agreed. That's "convicted" in terms of the NCAA. The NCAA accepted OSU's actions in response to their "cheating".

I gave him a pretty clear answer. Ohio State cheated last year, so are they cheaters? Michigan has neither been accused of, or issued, NCAA rule violations. The B10 accused us of bad "sportsmanship", not a rule violation.

No shit. They were never keeping this staff no matter what happened. The point is they already fired their HC.

And I'll take you up on that bet. We can agree that Allen is gone. You think Franklin, Beliema and/or Fleck will be fired after this season. I don't. Loser doesn't post on here for 3 months. Starting as soon as they are fired/retained (leaving for another HC position doesn't count). Have a bet?

And the point I'm making is that their acting head coach was/is openly pushing for this B10 action. He'll be gone in a few weeks.

So you are still wrong but here is what is funny, we have had this convo and yes TOSU cheated. There are levels like going 5mph over the speed limit or going 50mph over and looking stupid while doing it. I hope that helps.

No, I think more than 1 B10 coach is getting fired (beyond the interim coaches that will be also fired). I don't think it's particularly important to the argument Im' making. Half the people pushing this punishment will be gone within 1-3 years.

There are levels. And right now we not only have no idea if 1. Michigan broke the rules or 2. how badly the NCAA would consider any violation they did commit. Hence the point of due process.

SO you have a group of people fighting for their job, pushing for a precedent to be set by a brand new commissioner who doesn't know shit about football, to punish a team/coach who's been kicking their ass, for a desperate attempt to cling onto what they have. And most of those people will be gone, leaving this horrible precedent in place in their wake.
