Yeah, but this is the Broncos, the team that replaced Jay Cutler with succeeding piles of poo and haven't been as good since. By their standard, this is par for the course.
That cap hit is brutal. They’re going to suck this year.
This and next. I'm no specialist on the cap, but this article says a post-June 1 cut is $0 savings this year and only saves $6 million next season.
