I suspect my point was missed.
There were no African Americans, no people of colour back then down there, those terms did not exist. They were called what I referred to them as and were treated like cattle. That is exactly what they were to the owners. That little kid above could have had mom sold before he was weaned. He could have been sold away from mom as well if he had good bloodlines. Adults were boiled alive. Hung from trees and left to die with their dicks cut off and stuffed into their sewn up mouth.
