What are you reading?

Finished Dresden - Turn Coat. A little better than Small Favor but he seems to be packing too much into each story now, and there's a lot of loose threads. Gotta see it through to the end, I guess.

Going to pick up the next three chapters this afternoon.
I don't know if I ever went book by book with the Dresden Files...I don't think I could tell you which ones I liked better than others. There are a lot of threads out there as he introduces new characters and new storylines and that gets tough.

while I am always looking forward to his next book, I am not sure I remember everything that is going on with him at this point.

I've been reading them in order ever since I found the first book at my local branch. The overall story is very different now from where it began; Harry doesn't really do much investigating for hire anymore, or consult with the police special investigations unit. Murphy is still around, at least. Instead Harry is getting deeper into White Council business and more entangled with the Faery World and with the White Court vampires. They're still entertaining and breakneck but I keep finding myself with a lot of unanswered questions at each book's end. Maybe that's all by design.

I think so...and now that he has arch enemies and baddies that have him included in their big plans, it def gets away from where he started.

I tend to like to have an urban fantasy series to go to all because I like Dresden so much...so Sandman Slim is that for me right now. I liked the Iron Druid series too, but it got a little meh towards the end.

Dresden is still my favorite...but Dungeon Crawler Carl is getting up there...although that could be considered LitRPG...I dunno

I'm reading "Fade Away" by Harlan Coben. Book 3 in the Bolitar series. Good read. Crime and humour that works very well together.
I see a bunch of his titles at my local branch, which usually makes me suspicious. I mean, there's also a whole row of Jackie Collins books on the same shelf.
