couldn't agree more. But @WhosYourDawggy claims these are the worst violations to ever happen. "level 8" "this stuff is nonsense".
"but everyone agrees it's tainted" lol

"Beating tOSU is everything" has become "who even cares about that game". Simply amazing. They ruined CFB this year with conference expansion and the 12 team playoff. Nothing means anything anymore. Michigan and Ohio State could meet undefeated again and it means nothing. Both are guaranteed locks for the playoff.
Because it used to be meaningful. The B10 and NCAA have done everything possible to turn it into just another game -- probably because Ohio State can't win it anymore. Can't have the B10's 2nd best team missing the playoff now can we?"Beating tOSU is everything" has become "who even cares about that game". Simply amazing.
Zero people outside of UM fans would say that over the last 50 years tOSU and Michigan have been equal in football. I mean, I'm pretty far from being a bucknut but gotta call out idiocy when I see it...which is pretty much every post you make.lol, like what? Losing our coach for the two hardest games of the year? "everything fell in line" lmfao. You guys had an easy path to a playoff spot and lost to our assistant coach.
It must grind your gears that in the last 50 years both Michigan and Ohio State have the same number of national titles.
Well, if Tom Brady's official ball washer says it then it must be true.View attachment 123349

So you're saying that OSU has massively underacheived?Zero people outside of UM fans would say that over the last 50 years tOSU and Michigan have been equal in football. I mean, I'm pretty far from being a bucknut but gotta call out idiocy when I see it...which is pretty much every post you make.
Bullshit. Even in years where UM was sucking ass and there was nothing on the line you still had it circled as your superbowl. Now you want to say it is meaningless if it doesn't impact playoffs? Nah, miss me with your bullshit.Because it used to be meaningful. The B10 and NCAA have done everything possible to turn it into just another game -- probably because Ohio State can't win it anymore. If last year was applied to this system, Michigan and Ohio State play again the very next weekend....both are guarnteed playoff spots and would have a good shot at playing again weeks later in the 12 team playoff. Garbage system.
No I'm saying that you are talking out of your ass.So you're saying that OSU has massively underacheived?
Sure because we could knock OSU out of things. Michigan could be 3-8 and there was hope we could ruin their season. If OSU came in with no losses or 1 loss, they'd be competing for the BCS or for the 4 team playoff. Michigan would have a shot at knocking them out. They've removed that entirely from the game and it's a shame.Bullshit. Even in years where UM was sucking ass and there was nothing on the line you still had it circled as your superbowl. So regardless of the number of playoff slots, the game still has meaning because there is a good chance at least one of you is in contention for a playoff spot. In your scenario 3-8 UM could give tOSU their second loss and maybe bump them from top 12.Sure because we could knock OSU out of things. Almost every significant game in the series history would have functionally had little meaning if this new system existed at the time.
It is now limited to bragging rights and historical meaning. Unless one of the teams is on the bubble then the actual meaning for playoff spots is minimal; at least compared to what it used to be.So regardless of the number of playoff slots, the game still has meaning because there is a good chance at least one of you is in contention for a playoff spot. As I said, it's not your lips that are moving...its your cheeks.
I'm certain you are one of those types that have said "I don't care if we only win one game, if we beat <insert arch-rival name here> then it's a successful season".It is now limited to bragging rights and historical meaning. We had our worst QB in over a decade, a dude who was so bad that the only school who wanted him was a low end ACC team, and you barely escaped at home in the final seconds with your greatest team ever. You cheated to get an advantage over the past 3 years, had OSU's offense take a major step back in 2023, had UGA get majorly upset in the SEC CCG, had LSU/Clemson/Oklahoma all have major down years, and then got to face the weakest field in CFP history. It's why nobody really thinks much of your CFP win outside of your fanbase.lol, like what? Losing our coach for the two hardest games of the year? "everything fell in line" lmfao. You are going to go with the "they ruined CFB by expanding the playoffs" riff, eh? Or, more like our entire coaching staff blew out of town to avoid getting sanctioned and fired, and we are going to suck. But, sure, blame it on the new format. They ruined CFB this year with conference expansion and the 12 team playoff. Nothing means anything anymore. Michigan and Ohio State could meet undefeated again and it means nothing. Both are guaranteed locks for the playoff.
This is true, mi might not be desperate enough to cheat now that tOSU should make the playoffs every year.It is now limited to bragging rights and historical meaning. Unless one of the teams is on the bubble then the actual meaning for playoff spots is minimal; at least compared to what it used to be.
You have 1.5 with an asterisk, they have 2. You are making me defend tOSU ... uggghhh.lol, like what? Losing our coach for the two hardest games of the year? "everything fell in line" lmfao. You guys had an easy path to a playoff spot and lost to our assistant coach.
