Preseason Coaches Poll

No poll should even be released until week 5. Not many teams know what they have but it's always fun to look back at the shake up I guess. When OU won the natty in 2000 they were ranked 18 in the first poll.

Dude, you guys have the easiest SEC schedule ... I wouldn't be flapping my gums too loudly. You had better make the CCG this year with that schedule.
 
Well, we will see if Venables hired a good D coordinator. I think he has.
I've always been a fan of Seth Littrell, we'll see what he has.

Venables is learning and so far getting better.
We will see where that leads.

Just put 11 on the field and see what happens

You’re probably correct, this is a safe bet, but I refuse to accept it until it happens. My money is on Michigan to win the whole thing. Even if they don’t, I’ll still be a fan in 2025. GO BLUE!!!!!

i would take aggys schedule over ours if we were talking easier paths...fwiw

and i thought SEC schedule was the SEC schedule?

my ol my have things changed

I am just pointing at facts. Do you play @ the no 4, 5 and 6 pre-season teams? Didn't think so. In fact, you dodge the no. 4, 5 and 6 teams altogether. My point was simple ... you have a very easy SEC schedule ... you better not fuck up.

You seem to be purposely obtuse. I am not sure what that even means.

- Do you deny that you have the easiest, or at least one of the easiest SEC schedules?

- Wouldn't it be a fuck up to avoid Bama, LSU, Ole Miss, get UGA, UF, and Kentucky at home, and OU neutral, in Texas. Your 3 away games are Vandy, Arkansas, and ATM. You get a Michigan team that lost its entire starting roster and coaching staff.

- Assuming the next 8 game schedule flips in 2 year, you will get Bama, LSU, Ole Miss, UTjr, and presumably OU. Can't you see that is a much tougher schedule, which highlights how easy it is this year?

That's all I am saying, and saying you better not fuck it up or you are in for a rough SEC start. As it is, you have a chance to have a great SEC start and you should be thanking your lucky stars.

have no idea.. they haven't released the MRI info.. but one of the sites I follow reported that it happened during a hit.. so at least it wasn't the dreaded non contact injury.. They also said he did not hear a pop or anything.. so I'm hoping it comes back negative.. hope he can return for Ann Arbor

It's no different than the Big12 back in the day, where you had the easier schedule in the south if your two year rotation was KState (most years) instead of Nebraska.

Not sure why this is a hard concept for some, unless they just want to try to be cute.

yeah.. i remember the favorite for the North Division was the team that avoided UT/ou and played aggy/osu at home lol
