The biggest thing Indiana has going for them is they have mostly blown out all that weak competition they have faced. It would look far different if they were sneaking by most teams and had that terrible SOS.

With Georgia's schedule I'd give them 4 losses. Maybe 3. I could downgrade that to 2 once I see how they perform against Ohio State.

That's a reasonable take, IMO. I don't really follow B1G football, so I can't really tell you whether they are good or not, and we don't know because they haven't been challenged. Who knows, maybe they really are good. But, teams don't normally do what they are doing without several years of injection of talent.

Not sure how WSU would compare favorably to Indiana unless OSU beats them by like 40+. WSU was smoked by Boise State and then has played a G5 schedule the rest of the way with very narrow wins against teams like Fresno State, San Jose State and San Diego State.

I'm not trying to brag up WSU's schedule, but they did play and beat Texas Tech from the Big XII and Washington from the B1G. Indiana's schedule is flat out garbage and B1G in name alone. *Edit* I think a comparison of Wash. State (11-1) vs. Indiana (11-1) would be warranted. *Edit*

Kentucky would beat the snot out of UNI. That said, the discussion was which was the worst loss ... losing to UNI was a way worse loss that losing to Ky, although both are bad losses which is what I said in my original post with you.

Just looking at common opponents, Indiana beat Washington comfortably, whereas the Wazzu game was tight.

They brought in something like 30 transfers. Most of their starters are new. Is it a sustainable model? Probably not, but if you hit, for one year, you can be really good. Kinda like Ole Miss defensively.

In fairness, Washington had to travel to IU. I'd argue beating Washington in Seattle is better than beating them at home. Despite the margin of victory.

In ten years, there have been 22 3-loss teams in the top twelve and only one season in which there no 3-loss teams in the top 12.
