CFP Rankings

Not wrong. Just a whiner.
What's funny is you would be saying the same thing we are if you were in our position. I am a little humored at how much you respond to these things. You are no. 1, act like you've been there before.

He could be scared of Georgia ... seems rational. Georgia is a good team in the SEC ... I hate to say it, but the SEC is by far the best Conference. No gets outta there with some wounds. Oregon has had a relatively easy schedule, and to win the Championship, you gonna have to run a tough Gauntlet.

Eye test has always been the biggest factor.
The B1G wouldn't be littered in the top 8 teams if eye test was the biggest factor. I'm a huge B1G fan, but we are so far behind the SEC this year, it isn't even funny.

Oregon and Ohio are the only two teams in the B1G who should be top 8. I realize it will play itself out, but do not say eye test is the biggest factor. Record, regardless of SOS, is the biggest factor right now.

I just noticed ND HOSTS a CFP game? How is that possible? They lose to Northern Illinois (I think that is who it was) at home, have played a super soft schedule and they host a CFP game?

Too bad my team sucks -- This 12 man tourney looks like fun.

In late November, Texas’ biggest win is a 3 point victory against Vandy.

I mean I just don’t understand how Tennessee fans can’t grant the concept that in a 4 way tie Individual H2H wins mean nothing because all 4 of the tied teams have H2H wins over each other and cancel each other out.

If it was just Alabama and Tennessee tied they would be ahead but it’s not. It’s a 4 way tie

Oregon is a fraudulent #1 and will be exposed in the playoffs.

The best teams in CFB IMO are…

1. Ohio State
2. Alabama
3. Georgia
4. Ole Miss
5. Oregon

Nope. There's even a remote possibility the bigxii gets shut out of the playoffs this year
How? Which other G5 conference would have a champion ranked higher?

BSU - MW
Army - American Ath Conf

Is that what you are getting at. Holy shit, hadn't thought of that. Great catch. So, if ASU, BYU, and Colo all drop games in the next 2 weeks, Army beats ND and wins out, they could be ranked higher.

Really good catch ... I haven't seen that discussed anywhere.

The Big 12 wouldn't deserve a spot if that happens. Not sure they'd deserve one if ASU or Colorado won the CCG either. Like the others I've ragged on her about not beating a ranked team (yet), they shouldn't be given a pass for that either. Then again, none of them are ranked in the top 10.

Oh, Iowa State could finish 11-2 and win the Big XII with a win @ Iowa from the B1G in their back pocket. They would definitely deserve a spot in a 12 team Playoff even if it was as the #12 seed. I understand that Boise State and Army if they win out are good teams, but neither conference is as good or deep as the Big XII. Not even close. Not saying that is going to happen. The Cyclones are actually more likely to lose out than win out IMO. However, if ISU does go 11-2, wins the Big XII and does not make the CFP, that's just the way it is. Might as well just automatically go to an SEC-B1G circle jerk, but the B1G would not like that in practice.

I hope you are right. The Big 12 has just looked poor this year from the games I've seen. Not bad, just not as good as usual and that isn't because OU and Texas left. That said, the parity makes for more good close games than other conferences.

I guess we will find out! I'd love to test the theory to find out if an 11-2 Big XII Champion Iowa State makes the CFP or not. I guess they would wind up in the Alamo Bowl if they don't make the cut. More to my point though is that the Big XII looks a hell of lot better than the MWC and the AAC. There is no depth in either of those conferences like there is in the Big XII. I have no issue with Boise State and Army if they win out though as individual teams. Tulane would be irksome though as a 2 loss team in a weaker conference that lost to Big XII Kansas State (which ISU will have to beat to win the Big XII).

The Big 12 champ will be in the CFP...
