You're not a hater, you're just not usually right.

Whatevs!!! He’s one of them bitter-assed haters who ugly and they moms dress them funny.
me bitter?? Why?

my team is 10-1 :) #HOOKEM

Oof, DL is taking a beating, I still agree with not giving mid level recruits a huge bag to keep them from jumping to lesser schools offering one (Merritt is likely going to Colorado) but it is incredibly frustrating.

We are gonna have to hit the portal hard at DL. We aren't getting Stewart either, USC & Oregon reportedly are in a NIL bidding war that we refuse to match.

using all that money to throw at Sanders, aye??

The money they have pooled for HS recruiting most likely. Merritt is a decent prospect but you don't throw a big bag at a guy rated #144 in the composite. Let Colorado do that if they want.
jesus man don't take it literally, it was just a troll lol

Not so sure about Stewart, he's gonna be on campus this weekend for the game, but Merritt and Mathis aren't big losses. Neither was likely to contribute until 2026 at the absolute earliest, likely 2027, but DL depth is something we're not worried about. Keep in mind this class still has four other 4* DL commits in Grady, Carter, Roy, & Odom.

We're losing Jack/JTT/Tyliek/Hamilton, but they've done a solid job of getting solid snaps for Kenyatta/Curry/McDonald/Kanu/Moore, and even the true FR Houston and Kirks in recent weeks. Not saying we won't go after maybe an EDGE in the portal but unless we have some massive numbers of guys leave, it's not that big of a need.

Fasusi looking like a solid OU lean again. Most are saying they don’t foresee a flip- he went to Texas game but went in the morning and left after, Mom didn’t attend with him and he’s still tweeting Boomer..

lol it's not us you should be worried about.. it's aggy.. and as of now it's still expected he shows up this weekend there.. also doesn't hurt that his handler is also an aggy.

Heres some insider info on his situation. Kind of long but very informative. Hopefully OU can hire an OC next week and that should help Fasusi make his decision.

The recruiting impact of Oklahoma's win over Alabama cannot be overstated. Several commits and targets across multiple classifications were in attendance watching firsthand as the Sooners upset the Crimson Tide.

But OU football's prized commit was elsewhere. Five-star offensive tackle pledge Michael Fasusi began a final stretch of visits ahead of a final decision during the early signing period.

One trip down, another to go? The latest:

The trip to Texas was a productive one. Being able to check-in with Steve Sarkisian, Kyle Flood, Chris Gilbert and others was something Fasusi had been looking forward to.

Fasusi enjoyed the game and saw what he needed to see. His father and sister went with while his mother stayed back.

One source made an interesting point, saying Texas can address a lot of 'needs' from being aggressive on the NIL front to the football side of the equation. It's why Fasusi continues to evaluate the Longhorns further as he knows the program checks boxes.

But a program like Oklahoma might be able to fit Fasusi's 'needs and wants' a bit more according to the same source. Out of the recent trip to Texas, the current feel is that OU remains in solid standing.

Fasusi was taking calls and texting with some of Oklahoma's commits towards the backend of his visit in Austin while the Bama game began. He watched the Sooners' game during the drive back Saturday night and his family was 'freaking out' in the car together while OU pulled off a win.

Obviously Fasusi has been pretty active on social media following the Sooners' victory over the Tide which is reflective of the reestablished belief in the program he's been committed to. There remains cautious optimism in Norman that OU may be able to hold onto the kingpin of its class.

But the unknowns remain. Sources continue to reiterate the importance of getting word to Fasusi about Oklahoma's next steps on the offensive side of the ball. Most importantly the future of offensive line coach Bill Bedenbaugh. One source mentioned Fasusi sees a 'father-son style' bond between him and Bedenbaugh, but being unsure of what may happen to his most trusted relationship has fueled Fasusi's 'due diligence' tour.

So that leaves a trip to Texas A&M still on the table. Fasusi will be heading to College Station to watch the Aggies face the Longhorns in a highly anticipated reunion of a headliner rivalry.

Sources continue to indicate Texas A&M might be the greatest threat to Oklahoma in this process. Many believe that if Fasusi were to watch A&M win in thrilling fashion in the middle of what's sure to be one of the best atmospheres this college football season has seen, all bets might be off. The Aggies finished second last time around and the staff is hoping to pull something off with this final impression.

Obviously Texas A&M is also navigating a potential flip of Lamont Rogers in the midst of a 2025 cycle where the Aggies are already carrying six offensive line pledges. How this layered situation works out remains something to monitor but intel indicates that if Fasusi did want to join and so did Rogers that A&M would do whatever it takes to make it work.

It's expected that close friend, teammate and fellow OU commit Sean Hutton joins Fasusi in College Station. He did not go with Fasusi to Texas, instead at the OU-Bama game. There's no firm word yet on who from Fasusi's family will be joining along for this visit, too.

To close this out, the win over Alabama really helped the programs' cause in terms of trying to keep a foundational piece around. But a 'battle' won doesn't mean the 'war' is over.

The number-one thing Oklahoma has to do is get Fasusi some sort of word on what's going to happen with Bedenbaugh and the offensive coordinator vacancy. Still assuming OU's goal is to have something finalized prior to the early signing period's start, but if that ends up not being the case, then Fasusi will rightfully remain open-minded.

Oklahoma has reason to be optimistic. Texas should feel good about what it accomplished. Texas A&M enters a weekend full of possibility. It all combines to illustrate just how complex Fasusi's outlook is down the final stretch.
