2025 Recruiting Thread

this was a surprise? we tried getting on him over the summer but even our $9.95ers said he's going to ND back then

6-6 in year 3 of an upgrade hire will do that

lol he had to commit, twice??

Funny story about Hilson.. Texas and his family agreed over a month and a half ago.. then he takes trips to Syracruse and aggy.. who offer him more.. Texas still in it, Aggy offers even more.. Texas bows out, he's Aggys.. Aggy then flip Rodgers officially from Mizzu.. Mizzu is petty and pays him even more to come up there...

Not sure if this kid will be that good at Mizzu.. but his negotiating skills are elite.
Im just glad he didn't pick up the poop brown cap. Even gave the required horns down sign lol. He gives Bedenbaugh 2 top 10 OL this class.

:) Maybe he will finally be the first 5 star OL he gets drafted in the first round

Thank you Dan for not wanting any of our 5 stars :)

Who knows he could be the next Trent Williams or Tyler Guyton.

those were 3 stars.. fasusi is a 5 star... BB has a hard time developing slam dunks

@WhosYourDawggy seems like the title of #1 class will comedown to Justus Terry this Friday.. I know we aren't getting him, but i just remember what you said back in the spring/summer.. Are we now recruiting SEC SEC SEC level?

You're welcome.

On a serious note, I really wanted Terry. We landed some great WRs so I can't complain but Terry is special IMO.

Yall usually close late in February. Are there no good players waiting it out this year or is pretty much everyone signed early?

Can we talk about how shockingly bad Michigan State's class is?

They have ZERO composite 4 star players and rank above only Purdue and Northwestern in the B10. Just a shockingly bad look for a head coaching going into year 2.

They were already bad this year, but man -- if they don't hit the portal hard they're going to be even worse next year.

yeah usually you would wait til the February signings but.. only 5 players in the top 100 didn't sign so far.. but they aren't waiting til February to do so either. I expect them to sign today or tomorrow before the period is over.

Man things are changing so fast. You have out recruited us for as long as I can remember but that never really translated to the field. You got some dudes this year. Good class even for yall.

It's changed under Sark.. I know this class is heavy with Skill positions as far as star rankings (WR, ATH, S, CB), but I'm stoked about the DL (Jackson, Sharma, Charles, Orogbo)

OL on paper looks bad but those are the types Flood takes.. he usually loads up with high ranking kids ('22, '24), then follows it with a class of low 4 stars/3stars ('23, '25)

Interestingly, on Rivals, Oregon is No. 1 and for them it depends on if they flip this TE commit from Michigan.

Assuming Terry goes UGA, we would be no. 1 on the 247 Composite.

The interesting thing is how the top has gotten clogged up. Unlike years past, NIL is making it so that talent is spread out more. We are definitely seeing that now.

You aren't totally embarrassing yourself being in the SEC, SEC, SEC! :beer2:
