UGA vs. ND most definitely hurt by the day/time change. Would have gotten a better lead in, and a better viewership window. Guessing it gets 18-19 in the normal time slot.

2.4 million watch Pat and his boys f around on the sideline is actually crazy numbers

I'm guessing there's a good chunk in there that wouldn't have watched the game otherwise but came for Pat (I tried a few times and it's not good coverage of the game)

Yeah, it's probably pretty close to the numbers you initially mentioned. Maybe a little higher, but less than the Rose as you and others predicted.

The Dawg chumps will make enough excuses without you helping them out.

Nope, because unlike you I am always open to being wrong. I just posted to @ericd7633 that the numbers would have been within the margin of the numbers you guys posted about. You would think as long as we've all been posting here that you would know that I admit when I am wrong - because it doesn't really matter and don't really care. It's a sports board, not life. SMH.

Think this gets broken next Friday night??
It will be intersting because as the others have pointed out it will show whether the casual fans that turn on the Rose Bowl matter than much. You do have two huge fanbases, and the holidays are over. No NFL competition.

Someone with the CFP numbers of the past, post the largest viwerships for all the games, semis or otherwise.

That's a lot of people who got to see the ducks made to squeal like a pig.

I mean...it was obvious to everyone but yourself the RB was going to outdraw the Sugar.

Even in an extremely uncompetitive game it crushed you.

I also always wonder about the difference between a "going out night" and a day where people aren't going anywhere. New years puts up big numbers bc people are watching at home.

NYE? How do they account for 100 people watching it on the same 2-3 tvs at a restaurant or bar?

Wonder if a Friday evening can be somewhat similar

Gotta think this game tops 22+ million.
