Last movie you watched and rating (1-10)

Mad Max: Furiosa 8 / 10. Well done for a mad max movie.

This movie should have come out before Mad Max: Fury. It's the prequel to Fury and one of the reasons I didn't like Fury is because the lead character shows up out of nowhere with five hot women even though we are at a time when humanity has collapsed. It didn't make any sense.

Well...Furiosa answers all of the question I had about Fury.

There was just way too much stuff that didn’t make sense for character motivations and plot. The main character was the most boring character, something I see lots lately. Gave it an extra point because there was genuine tension at times.

Good story for fodder, but written, directed, shit, and dialogue like an amateur play… like that woke shitty A League of Their Own series. Great acting by the two leads mostly.

Was going to review this one, but you nailed it. 3/10 is perfect. Then they felt like they spent so much time with stupid shit early on that they had to wrap it up real fast. So lame.

Cliche. Woke. Told in on the nose narration. Doesn’t expand the original conceit in interesting ways. In the one tense interesting come to Jesus moment with the hubby, they drop the ball. They end it as cliche and expected as the rest of the movie. Yuck.
 
Number 24 on Netflix. 8.75 out of 10.
Outstanding movie about parts of WW2 that I didn’t know about. Simply put, just watch it.
 
Watched the Kings of Tupelo yesterday. Good lord what a fucking crazy story.

Saturday Night 7/10

Interesting to see a sensationalized glimpse of the first night SNL aired on television. It had good acting throughout. The guy playing Belushi nailed it imo. I didn't give it a better rating because I went in thinking it was supposed to be funny, but there really aren't a ton of laughs. I'd recommend giving it a try on streaming.
