tOSU Locks Up Ryan Day 4-Life

Yeah but if you have sustained success at a top tier program you can earn enough "fuck you" money in the college ranks, and you'd never have to pay for a meal or drink again in that town.
The money’s good, but there’s no true off season and now you have to recruit players already on the team to stay

True which is why teams now employ general managers to deal with that shit. The recruiting grind never ends if you want to win. What's interesting is with the playoffs now extending into the third week in January, there's like barely 60 days between the end of the season and spring ball. Starting to be no off-season for the players too.

Michigan fans all over the World are celebrating. We would have paid for the extension and now we get it free of charge.

He won't ever be as bad a Harbaugh (5 game losing streak and then pussied out in 2020 and then had to bring in Stallions)

Day will win this year. monkey is off his back; he can coach relaxed now

We've been hearing that ever since he said he was going to hang 100 on Michigan. Since that comment, Ohio hasn't won a game and have score 84 points total. What Monkey is off Day's back? He lost to Michigan again this year, when Michigan didn't even have a QB. You haven't won a conference title since Covid and came in 4th place this past year. Ohio gets hot at the right time and Ohio gives him $90 million.

Keeping Day is a dream scenario for Michigan.

McMurphy is such a suck-wad. It was a 3 year extension on a contract that already went 4 years.

It isn't for life, but Day said he wanted to stay at least until his middle-school daughters are out of high school (or "as long as they will have me").

He definitely deserved something after winning the natty.

He didn't have to run out of town just ahead of the law. He could have gone to the NFL and taken his entire staff with him so at least there's that.

Yea that's great. However Meyer is an arrogant motherfucker who leaves programs in shambles due to his own narcissistic ways. Two months ago Day was dogshit to Buckeye fans to the point the AD had to make a point to "deemphasize" the important of the Michigan game.

Things change very quickly

That kind of $$$ can certainly buy a lot of:

Hell, that's less days off than the summer break for teachers.
Freakin' salt mines.

Look at Mr.Rape defender riding another scUM teams coat tails since he sucked against Ohio State

I don’t understand the reference but that video is one of the all-time greats.
