In the situation in this thread, I wonder if the kid could have gotten away with shooting that asshole cyclist. He's physically aggressive and when he reaches back to grab his phone one could easily make a case that they thought he was reaching for a gun after putting hands on the vehicle and making threats.

Would suck to shoot an unarmed person, but also would suck to be that pathetic dick cyclist trying to be the police.

Oh goodness...I stopped watching at "what if I apologize??" Dude is lucky that stoner boy didn't break him in half

I learned my lesson the hard way about putting my hands on people's cars. Takes some self-discipline when your blood is up, but don't...touch...their...car... (I've also had bikers slap my hood or windows. I've chased a couple down.)

Now I just shoot off a few expletives and keep riding. They know what they did wrong, but even if they don't, I'm not going to educate them. Pearls : swine.
 
May all of you advocating for violence against cyclists wind up penniless in prison. The vast majority of cyclists aren’t the assholes you’ve chosen to cite as reason for your hatefulness. Most ride right, and it doesn’t infringe upon your rights in your air conditioned motor vehicles to obey the laws and share the road. You’re piloting a lethal weapon, and they’re riding bicycles.

All I want is for the "ShArE tHe RoAd" dipshits to follow the same laws I have to. I don't mind any of the other cyclists. Fuck every last biker, you included (full offense intended if you do this), who blow through stop signs or lane split and go through red lights but then take up a fucking lane in the road. May your seat knock loose and the seat post impregnate all of them. :suds:
 
And so help me god if I hear one biker say "but I have to get back up to speed if I stop at a stop sign". Who cares, don't bike if you don't want to actually fucking bike.

cyclist didn't signal an intent to turn, was clearly planning to turn. But like the frame above shows, the dude was set up in the left lane and gave no intention of his impending turn. Cyclist completely in the wrong, and that is how dumbass cyclists end up getting hit and then everyone else is to blame. They think that because they are going slower they can just meander around all they want.
 
Had another instance of "fuck cyclists" this weekend, just like I had spoken about last week or whenever I posted. Cyclist in the right hand lane, dead center in the lane, on a four way divided highway. Speed limit is 60 for most of that road and when it ends in the next town there is a stoplight. About a half mile before the stoplight I see this guy, move over and pass him, then get back in the right lane as does the rest of the cars on the road. We get up to the light and I'm the second in line, wanting to turn right. Light turns green, we start to roll, I have my signal on, and as I start to turn right I see something in the corner of my eye so I hit my brakes.

It's the dickhole cyclist who came zipping between cars and the curb and blew right through the intersection even though I had the right of way and had signaled my turn. Since I stopped he only had to make a slight coure adjustment to get around the front of my truck after which he flipped me off as he rode away. How dare I legally operate my vehicle in a manner that doesn't suit him??

And that @Tin Man is why I'm a contributor to all things FUCK BIKERS in this world.

I can find enough blame for both guys.

When you're a pedestrian, you have right of way because you're slower to react. On the water, a sailboat has right of way over a power boat because they're slower to react. A biker is slower to react than a car or motorcycle. Even the other motorbiker told the first guy "you shouldn't have passed him on the right." I get that the biker didn't signal, and he should have (maybe he did, before the video starts, hard to know), but the motorbiker sped up to get passed him and didn't leave himself time to react to the bike moving into his path. It's like when you rear-end another driver, 95 times out of 100, you're going to be found at fault.

For every cyclist behaving as you describe, there are 100 motorists creating hazardous situations for law abiding cyclists.
