We always called it by the meat it was based from except sausage gravy we interchange with "country gravy" and I guess brown gravy with beef gravy.... but turkey gravy is always turkey gravy.
My kids are gonna look at me funny when I give them mashed taters with country gravy.

Endless gravies. Even just yer country gravy has different ways to make it. Like for example, say you're some retarded old boomer, you prolly just like regular old breakfast sausage for yer base. I personally think Andouille sausage is vastly superior there, and have used bacon in a pinch.
Turkey gravy better have fried sage as it's base, or it can fuck off.

Fully agree. Add some football- maybe watching the Cowboys lose, and it's already a good Thanksgiving.
As for gravy, I only make it for Thanksgiving, since some family members like the stuff. I've tried the gravy the next day on the T'giving sandwich, and it is a bit better.
