I've been wanting to get into watching it more now that I've been starting to play it. It's just still odd to actually be sitting down to watch it after not really most of my life.
 
I'm so hurt by the WNBA and it will never be the same for me.

Most of the northern European leagues have long since ditched the dramatic diving to get calls. In fact, you'll likely see more fake wallowing in pain in the NHL than the Bundesliga (and I like NHL hockey, BTW) Those bastards in the Bundesliga are tough as nails and rarely flail around looking for a sympathy call. The EPL is quite the same, as well. Spain is nowhere what it used to be 20 years ago; that standard is awesome and there's not a shit ton of fake acting going on.

Because it's one event. Not multiple. You would have to add all the games together for an actual comparison.


That said....if the NBA cancels they're going to really feel the pain
 
Perhaps if we show MLB, MLS, the NBA, and WNBA this thread it'll change their mind or something.

I watched a half an inning of the second game on ESPN. The announcers talking about how great it was what the players were doing made me turn the game off. When I checked the score later and saw the Yankees had lost the second game also I just didn't care. I can't remember the last time I felt like that after a Yankees loss
