Cyber Monday Morning Thread

I used the Traeger kit. Included a brine that I did for probably 20 hours. Then smoked for 2.5 hours at 225 and then roasted at 325 for 2 hours.

Amazingly, the turkey was the first thing done... so I had it sitting on the smoker for almost an hour on warm waiting for everything else. Bird never got above 172.
That's interesting as I was talking to a coworker this morning about his Traeger. He loves it

I love having a dog, but I really hate poorly trained dogs. Hers doesn't listen when called.

Agree 100% on untrained dogs. One of my closest friends has 3 large dogs that are untrained and constantly jumping on people. I rarely go over to his house because of them.

If you guys are worried about wild dogs do what I do. I always take a Korean guy with me

ugh. too much hassle for my tastes. i like dogs, but just as long as they're NOT my dog, lol. and yes, i have absolutely no patience for ill-behaved/poorly-trained canines.
mine can be a pain at times, but he's a good dog and I really appreciate having him as a companion during this whole work from home thing going on.

that said, getting a dog sitter sucks.

Roy have I told you how much I love and appreciate you?
suck my dick GIF

sorry to hear that. hope your people are doing better today

Thanks.

They are. Wife and mother-in-law are feeling better. Daughter has to quarantine herself for at least 10 days. She has a slightly elevated temp, is a little tired and says the only real issue is not being able to smell or taste anything is weird. Says she's feeling better each day.

She's normally very active and was planning on going on a long hike and then coming over for Thanksgiving dinner. Having to stay quarantined for 10 days is going to drive her crazy.

I've told my friend that he better get those dogs trained or they're going in my smoker.

I saw over the weekend that Weber has a pellet grill now. I'd consider one of those...

also, Pnk got a new smoker.
The early weber versions had issues with grease fires, I think they fixed a lot of early bugs, but there were several people unhappy.

can I use a Vietnamese guy or can dog's tell the difference?

We brined, rubbed, and did 7 hours in the Traeger at 250. Mesquite. Left very nice deep brown, crispy skin. Wife took a pic and said it received rave FB oohs and ahhs.
only nerds take photos of their food

Here is roast beef I smoked and sliced up this weekend

Fuck off douchebag.

I still haven't forgot you teaming up with handicappers against me and won't.

You're a useless back stabbing piece of shit.

All you do is troll forums and pick someone to dogpile on with your useless troll buddies. You think you're funny but all you are is an irritating piss ant.

Its not that hard to train a dog. It just takes some consistency, which is too much for most idiots.
