Tuggin Tuesday Thread

No, I mean ”freeze” an account for a couple months and let some stuff build up, then switch it out with a different one for the next 2 months

That is an interesting thought. Would save some money.. Albeit not that much but a penny saved here and there adds up

Exactly! I had a meeting with their HR to go over my I9 docs. I asked a question and when he went looking I saw my pay had been cut. I didn't say anything to him, as he wouldn't have a clue and I'd like to still be employed until I have a new gig.

Even IF he had known they wouldn't be able to say anything about it anyway or just give some lame HR generic speech

Yeah I just now got the employment offer letter for the job I've been doing. Funny since this position isn't going to be needed in a few months. I'm not signing as I don't want that to stop any severance being offered if I don't move on first. I'll sign once I have guarantees in writing.

i have to run into office tomorrow.

I have to physically pick up laptop for part time work I am doing, since it's part of medical school there is extra level of security on network since network has patient data. Also means I need to work from 2 different laptops

So now banks close for lunch apparently

Not enough that the lobby is closed i guess

I haven't noticed that here. But I'll be honest, I'm not really sure why there are still so many physical bank locations out there. Almost everything can be done online.

Had to deposit cash last month. What a clusterfuck of sitting there and doing the tube thing.

I haven't stepped foot in a bank since I opened my account when I was in high school.

If you're offered insurance and you turn it down and take your spouses most places now charge extra for that

dofuckingwhat.

If you decline the insurance here and join the spouses plan somewhere, you get more money. Broad's organization is the same way.

I had to deposit some cash last week. Was a PITA having to walk in to a building and hand a dude a handful of cash.

We had to go add my name to the account we use for our rental house. That was the first time I've been to a bank in probably 3 years.
