Thursday the 3rd

Was going to take @Guy Incognito 's lead and do that fried eggplant caprese he talked about earlier this week for supper tonight. Goddamn grocery store didn't have any eggplant. So I got zucchini instead. Thinking I'm going to grill the zucchini instead of fry it though.

Finding eggplant this year has been harder than I ever remember in the past

"I think we'll take Guy's lead and play basketball tonight, except we'll take our golf clubs and go play 9 at the golf course"

probably for the best. the last time she took advice from @Guy Incognito in regards to eggplant, she had a christmas miracle.

The rest of the ingredients are the same. But I like zucchini grilled more than I like it fried.

Very odd. I don't think I've ever not been able to buy eggplant when I've wanted to before.

My mom and see to make that. Great stuff. She used to make zucchini relish too.
 
friends are picking crabs at 1:30 today and I am not going to make it...hoping to get out there at some point, just a little late.

weird time on a Thursday to be pick crabs...
