Is This A Regional Thing?

Anyone who passionately cares, about what others put on their processed lips and assholes, needs to get a life, or just end it.

ketchup can go on anything...

I used to dip my fish in it as a kid...and sometimes chicken if breaded.

gross dumb and dumber GIF

who orders a hot dog?

Also, fuck the not ketchup rule. I also like horseradish as a condiment

My wife's uncle is a food lunatic. "Eat this first, can't eat this that way", etc. When I asked him about the "no ketchup on a hot dog" thing, his logic was something like "ketchup only goes on beef". So I said I only get all-beef hot dogs.

He kinda short-circuited, and walked away muttering "beef, ketchup".
That's stupid as hell.

There's all kinds of beef you shouldn't put ketchup on.

I think ketchup is only good on burgers and fries.

I usually just dip my dogs in ketchup. Like chips and dip.

Round here I would order it as "with the works".

Yeah, I didn't question him on whether that meant you could eat ketchup on steaks.

All my life it's been the norm to order a hot dog "All The Way", which means it comes with mustard, slaw, chili, and onions. The question is whether it's just a regional term or pretty much nation wide. What say you?
definitely regional. do that in chicago and see what happens.

this is THE hot dog spot. my home town. people come from out of state to get hot dogs here.
