Insomnia Tuesday Thread

I didn't have a TV in my room until my brother came home from college. I think the first TV I owned was a 13" TV/VCR combo.
I had a portable B/W in college about that size. I was very popular.

Morning

They issued everyone who primarily works at the plant parking passes so we don't have to park in overflow parking because of the hundreds of contractors on site for the next few weeks.

Well I guess some contractors didn't get the memo and parked in the reserved areas and came back to the cars with a big obnoxious bright green sticker on their driver's side window saying don't park here again. These guys are pissed...and the sticker is not easy to peel off
In college I parked in back of commercial lot near campus, I got one of those stickers. It was nice of them to not have me towed, didn't park there again (i didn't park there often, I was cheapskate and parked on street, just had to get to campus early, no spots that day)

We weren't allowed to have cars my freshman year but a buddy of mine who had a gf somewhere else decided he needed a car and forged a parking sticker.

He got busted and lost parking privileges for all of his sophomore year.

I am considering giving my parking pass to a contractor buddy. I don't think I actually need it

Mediation finished early this morning. So the kiddo and I drove down to a dive bar and got some take out fried food for lunch.

It wasn’t a salad with balsamic, but it hit the spot.

I forged one of the temporary hanging tags, and it worked for a little while.

The expiration month, day and year were scratched off (like a lottery ticket). The scratch off material was gray, and the card underneath was white. So, I just would color the square in gray, write the number back over it, and scratch off a new square.

How many beers?

we could have cars our freshman year, but most didnt. I had two friends who did, one kept his car at a relatives that lived in city and he really only used car to go home and back

my roommate had a 1980's Plymouth reliant wagon, it was pile of junk. We pretty much had to get jump start anytime it was cold out (so most of the time) so when we needed to use the car we'd sit in the parking lot and have to wait until some poor sap walked to their car and chase them down to ask for a jump (i only recall one no)

and jump starting it was chore, one person turned the key while the other person sprayed carb cleaner in the manifold

Made Bahn Mi night. It was fucking awesome.

Im still a US citizen. I had to exchange my US license (Colorado) for one in Curacao. Mass won't let me exchange it. Complete retesting needed.
thanks Obama

I got a ticket once. I just kept it and put it on my windshield anytime I parked somewhere i shouldn't. Never had an issue after that.

My roommate my freshman year had a flat screen tube tv and we thought that was fancy.
we had a 27inch cabinet TV in college, came with the house

I also left it with the house

I do not know what that means.
Only Jesse I can think of is the dude who was in the Wanna Be a VJ competition on MTV back in the day...Jesse Camp I think
