International Women's Day Morning Thread

They can get rid of me for all I care. If I could go back in time, I would have never came here.

Well I don't think he needed much convincing of that though
Think it was a bit of the ole one in the car vs 2 in bar situation

lol

Rural>everything
for some.

Most of us realize we all different priorities/wants etc

For me I love living 10 minutes from Target field. I can get hammered at gopher game, take light right rail as far as west as it'll go, and $10 uber ride home

but this is my nightmare

If I could "100" this 100 times, I would.

Want to slit my wrist looking at that hellscape

Yeah I really don't like living right on top of someone like that. I mean they are fantastics homes for sure but seeing into your neighbors bathroom blindfolded I wouldn't want

That is what we are being forced into however for the most part. Buying up land and building "communities" right on top of one another

I am very happy that so many don't like rural life. Keeps the riff-raff out.

i don't mind neighbors, but always some risk.

it's when it's planned community with home after home that looks identical and gabled roofs that make me nauseous.

Jobs are big reason so many don't live rural. I do think as more people work from home and commute isn't factor, we'll see some people shifting to rural areas

I'm sure we'll be seeing some shifts

I like idea of rural, but I think i'd go stir crazy

I'm fairly sure until we're ready to retire, we're not going to move, but is tempting

and when we retire, it'll be out of MN. I'm even looking at few abroad options, we don't have kids or other anchors keeping us here in US, but would need to be near health services and we're lazy americans, so english speaking country
