It's obviously not your fault or anyone's for that matter. When we first started the drafts on tHoop back in 2013 we would have 5,6,7 times more posts in the chat than we would in the picks thread. In this draft there is nearly twice as many picks as posts in the chat thread.
Seems to me we are trying to keep something alive thats been dead for years.
True. There was a lot more banter, which made chatting fun. It wasn't usually attached to the draft itself, it was more life than anything. We bitched and complained about waiting forever for someone to pick, and chatted about everything under the sun while we waited. Now, to speed things up, people just wait for the text. No need to banter, cause they'll be informed when it's time to update their list and pick. Nothing wrong with that, but it has reduced the need for people to visit the chat page to fill the time between picks.
We've also had some strong personalities that aren't here anymore. Hell, I've been in and out of the drafts so much, there're posters who've thought I was the new guy and didn't realize I've been here forever. Several probably still think they've been here longer than I have.
I'd love to banter more. I know I love the drafts when I'm in them, John Elway is overrated, but not as much as Tom Brady and Eddie Guidal is the single best 3'7" player of all time!
