This thread works better when the Mets suck. May is usually when they fall apart, but they’re still comfortably in first. This might be the one random season they put it all together

Though hard to tell for sure in this one if it was truly fair.

What matters is the ump called it fair and Walker threw it away. They teach these guys when it’s close on the line like that try to push it foul some to influence. Walker went WAY too far with that push.
