Agreed. I’m saying the same thing. That but of human nature that turns me into a lookie loo is what happens to most of us. Train wrecks. Media is just interested in what drives eye balls and clicks.

Well, that’s one thing I’ve always felt Spain was really good at…..but even then 79% in a half is crazy.

Looks like it was 86% for the game. 17 shots and five on goal and it’s a push? I’m guessing Sweedens goalie was the man of the match just looking at stats.

Germany looks just like a Low coached team. Ineffective offense and defensive blunders. Hummels and Muller sure aren't earning their callups. A lot of passing and possession but the final pass not good. Bayern players come to Germany and again don't look great: Muller, Gnabry, Kimmich. Neither does Havertz or Gundogan. Ugh. This is what I expected with Low. Lose to France, and then Portugal and hopefully they can beat Hungary by enough to secure a 3rd place finish good enough to move on. Shitty German football since 2018 continues.

Just where my thoughts are going. This is the first I’ve watched them in 2 years.

They can still possess, but they can’t put a finish on any damn thing. France seems wholly content to sit back and wall out to try to take 1-0. If Germany’s attack has no teeth why bother trying to bash for a second goal?

Of course as I say this Mbappe gets free and only gets stopped by the flag. Beautiful dancing and poke from him.

zero shots on goal Germany. This is them since World Cup 2018. Looks like the Korea game, Mexico game, North Macedonia game and many others. Totally clueless up front. Got much worse at the end. Sane awful, Volland awful, Werner awful.

As they said during the game: Euro Antiques Road Show has higher ratings than Germany football. That is how far even Germany fans in Germany see it too. They don't care because the DFB just let's Low continue to destroy this team.

Well, about the only thing France couldn’t beat was the offsides flag. Both called back goals were beauties.

Right strategy. Pick almost any point in the past and sitting back and weathering Germany’s attack would have been suicide. But, this was wise against this toothless attack.

Man, I wish we had a player like Griesman on the US squad.

Yeah, if there were more effective subs to make I don’t know. But there couldn’t have been less effective subs. And so late too.

I’ll say this….Euro and World Cup soccer is not the same without a solid Mannschaft. Could it be that the DFB feels too close on things to make a change now? They are in Euros and jump right to qualifying after this.

I wonder if they feel like a coach change means they could miss even making the Cup and maybe there is a chance to at least qualify with Low in place?

Otherwise I can’t figure this out.
