The first two episodes were good, but episode 3 took a nosedive off a cliff. It sucked.
It really was poor.
Did not grab the attention at all.

Thanos kills Loki
My problem with this show, so far, is a problem that most writers have (Marvel writers in particular).
Lady-Loki has no depth. She is bad-ass in everything she does. She is a Bruce Lee level ninja. She has contingency plans on top of contingency plans. She taught herself her charm power out of nothing. She has no flaws that make her an interesting character.
Mr Loki, however, is a layered character. He is brilliant, obviously, but flies more by the seat of his pants. He can’t fight a lick (or at least doesn’t walk down a hall, Daredevil style taking out 15 bad guys without breaking a sweat). He uses humor to disarm his opponents either as a way to charm them and make them into his temporary ally or as a distraction to escape.
Outside of Black Widow, who is a decently written, layered character, the writers seem afraid to give female characters any flaws to speak of. Pepper is the no-nonsense strength behind Starks boyish, immature oafishness. Danvers only weaknesses came because she hadn’t yet discovered that she is, essentially, perfect and does no wrong. Lady-Loki is good at everything she does and only has to overcome Mr Loki’s ineptitude.
Yeah, I would agree with what was previously stated. Episode 3 sucked. It was completely pointless and seemed like the only purpose was to say that Loki was bisexual. Even the expositioning wasn't important or character-building. I see no real point to this episode at all other than the pandering attempt and I am certain that even depending on how the next episode goes or what it reveals, it won't do anything to explain this shit episode.
When is Invincible coming back? lol
Still pandering. How many movies have had Loki in them and not one mention, how relevant is it to the story or plot, never has been once. How many other characters have come out and just proclaimed their sexuality? It's nonsense. There is no point to it than to pander to the audience. Why didn't they also mention that Loki fucked a horse and enter the beastiality arena as well? That's part of the myth too.it would be pandering if it wasn’t an accurate portrayal of the Norse myth. It was believed that Loki is queer in the myths too.
but I will agree with the impatience on invincible coming back. That was almost as good as the boys. And both are the clear best superhero adaptations.

Pandering in the sense of it being Pride month and having no bearing on the story or really even the character as he exists in the Marvel universe. Why have it at all? I highly doubt there was a big calling from consumers to have an official sexual orientation for Loki, it's just dumb pandering.maybe I just don’t get what was pandering. Sure they are inferring that he is bisexual. They may have even said it. But have they knocked us in the face with it?? I don’t think so.
But whatever.
I’m still watching it. Even though I have been disappointed with the series so far. Wanted more quirkiness. Almost cartoonish. I am finding it more serious than expected.
Yeah, definitely. Invincible more so for me, it left off right when the season was getting really interesting.still impatiently waiting for both the boys and invincible to have another season.
Absolutely, definitely hooked me back in. They did everything right with episode 4.Well,
That episode was the exact opposite of the pile of shit last week.
Redemption.

Nebula ain’t exactly a hero either. Very much an anti-hero. She’s not motivated to do good but rather seek revenge for what Thanos did to her.Pretty lazy take there.
Scarlet Witch certainly has flaws.
Gamora has flaws.
Nebula has flaws.
Wasp has flaws (mostly that she grows out of as part of her arc).
Valkyrie has flaws.

you quite notably left out Captain Marvel who is more of a lead character than anyone you listed. The comic book version of her has flaws that weren’t
written into her movie character which the writers and film makers actively avoid.
