DRAMAWas at my parent's cabin last week. Worked half-days each day and then fished, tubed, cooked, and helped my parents with projects the other part of each day.
My dipshit brother had another outburst and drunkingly stormed off mid-week. Made everyone feel like shit, including yelling at me "No one fucking likes you" right before he left. I completely stayed out of his rant, which probably pissed him off more. And he even threw Lil' Kobe under the bus in his rant. He drove back a couple days later and apologized to my parents, but we'll see if anything changes. I'm skeptical. But my parents put down bottom lines with him because I told my parents I was going to stop bringing my kids out there if that shit continues. They'll pick the grandkids over any of us any day of the week.
I remember you sharing your brother's issues in the past. But bringing the kids into it? That's bullshitWas at my parent's cabin last week. Worked half-days each day and then fished, tubed, cooked, and helped my parents with projects the other part of each day.

Yeah, he claims she said something about wanting to trash the cabin because she doesn't live there. 1) I'm skeptical she'd say that because she's a super rule follower, but 2) Even if she did, let's remember that she's a damn kid and either tell me so I can deal with it or she was being sarcastic because that is essentially the only way we communicate. I talked to her about it and she said she doesn't remember having a single interaction with him this past week and since he's usually bombed when out there, it's difficult to believe him over her. Although I certainly do recognize I'm a little biased about the accusation.I remember you sharing your brother's issues in the past. But bringing the kids into it? That's bullshit
You may need to slap the fuck out of him.Yeah, he claims she said something about wanting to trash the cabin because she doesn't live there. 1) I'm skeptical she'd say that because she's a super rule follower, but 2) Even if she did, let's remember that she's a damn kid and either tell me so I can deal with it or she was being sarcastic because that is essentially the only way we communicate. That's why I just walked away. Manufactured drama isn't something I'm interested in. I was hauling the garbage when it all started...apparently it started because I fed Coal some Doritos that were apparently meant for a taco salad. Not marked and stacked with the other bags of chips. I came back to my brother yelling shit at me. He and his fiancee are drunk morons.DRAMA
I certainly had thoughts about that, but I don't roll that way.You may need to slap the fuck out of him.

Ended with my parents telling him if that shit occurs again that he's uninvited from coming out there again.

The funny part? His fiancee told me after his drunken rant that he's mad because I don't hang out with him more often. That I stick around the cabin and do stuff with my kids instead of fishing/drinking with him all day out there.

Wow.
My brother called me the other day to tell me our sister had unfriended him on facebook because he didn't like or respond to a post she put on his timeline about Paul McCartney in a timely manner.
Then he ranted for 15 minutes about how he's sick of Mom having to support sister's lazy ass and she needs to get a job and her worthless kid is lazy too...
I already knew all these things.
