Scott Frost is trying to get fired now.....

At the very least after those comments and the reluctance to run the QB and win the game imo the OCord should be either on very thin ice or fired immediately
Contrary to what he said last year, Frost is calling the plays once again this year.

If he's as arrogant as Forde was saying on his recent pod (WTF).. I can see him doing this on purpose.. Nebraska fires him, he gets his money, gets a QA job for two seasons then returns as an OC elsewhere.. and gets a job in the south

Northwestern ran the gauntlet of having a legendary player be the coach before Nebraska could.

I can't.

Think about it.... Unlike AD's Moos and Eichorst, Trev Alberts played on championship teams. He knows what high level football looks like in spring/fall practice and between game days.
He can sit in on practices, team meetings, film room, weight room, dining facility, etc. and see if the culture is laissez faire or that which makes for winning football. There is no attention to detail from this staff and it rears it's ugly head come gameday. The opponent just needs keep a simple game plan, play a fairly clean game and they'll win.

Only an insider would have known about those secondary violations and outed them to the NCAA. Whomever told the NCAA "You might want to look at this" would know they weren't major violations and the result is a slap on the hand at most.
However, violations are violations and I assume Frost's contract stipulates that violations may result in firing.
Instead of Frost eyeing a $20 million exit fee, he is now dealing with a likely 'Show Cause'.

"Here's $5 million, now get lost"

I used to get really upset when Oklahoma or Nebraska lost. Now I get laid 4 times a day at home with 2 kids binge-watching TV in the same room. I vote democrat. What do I care?
You bang in the same room that your kids are in?

Welcome to the SEC.

Frost's demeanor in his presser with Trev Alberts, and then his demeanor in last Monday's presser (repeated short answers with reporters) kind of tells the story. He didn't want to be there. I think he knows it was an inside job.

Rumor has it he's also dealing with some off-the-field family issues so that could also have something to do with his attitude. I'm surprised it hasn't broken in the local mainstream media, but maybe they can't verify the rumors. I'd think admin would know about it though.
Local mainstream media is all about hyping the Huskers until they finally throw in the towel and turn on the head coach when they know the handwriting's on the wall.
Solich had some off-the-field rumors, but the mainstream media never made a big deal of them. They kept the story line to winning/losing.

I think this says it all
It showed; he's mad and doesn't want to be there.

Am I the only one that finds it odd that the Huskers practice with music playing? That is were the problem with focus begins IMHO. My family member that coaches high school said they only play music at practice to lighten the mood and rarely at that. Why not give them ice cream with sprinkles after a loss while their at it?

you might be. seem like most schools have music at least at times. maybe not all the time or maybe they increase and decrease the volume. some schools use it as a way to bring noise into the equation ahead of a road game

Reading Athlon Sports preview on Nebraska, they summed up Scott Frost by saying his system doesn't jibe well with the B1G West and he probably would have been more successful in other divisions.

Thoughts?
