That would be a requirement for me. Good thing is I have access to the space above the garage to install any system... I just wonder what it would cost.

Smoked my Thanksgiving turkey using their recipe last year... best fucking turkey I've ever eaten. It isn't traditional turkey and doesn't really go with gravy, but it doesn't need it.

Bought my bag last month because they sell out. Last year I got the last one at Ace a few weeks before Thanksgiving and they said they didn't expect any more.

I usually smoke mine in a roasting pan with some butter. The butter and juices make a good sauce to put over the turkey….or even dip the slices in before serving.

But if you have a smoker, you have to make that turkey recipe... it's awesome.

Wife laughed that last year she spent like 79cents a pound on a turkey that ended up costing over $100 between the traeger turkey pellet bag/brine kit, brine bucket, bottle of gran marnier, and whatever else. But it was well worth it.

Yep. That’s where I put those traditional flavors. So it still gets a hint of that, but then has those more smokey flavors in the crust.

For me it isn't even about saving money on gas. It's really just the convenience of never having to stop for gas. Get home, plug it in and never think about stopping at a gas station again unless it's to buy a slurpie...

I haven't done any injection yet... probably have to experiment with that on something smaller if I'd want to try it with a whole turkey.
